Manuka honey throat soother

The Ultimate Mānuka Honey Throat Soother

This easy to make soother recipe made with Mānuka Honey is a natural and delicious addition to a hot drink that can be made ahead and have in the fridge on the ready to help soothe a sore throat or gift to a loved one that may be feeling under the weather.

Ingredients:

  • 1 orange, sliced into small wedges
  • 1 lemon, sliced into small wedges
  • 1/2 ginger root (approx 3 cm), peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • ½ cup Comvita Mānuka Honey


Instructions:

  1. Add orange and lemon wedges into a food processor and mix until combined.
  2. Blend in sliced ginger and turmeric.
  3. Add Comvita Mānuka Honey until a thick paste is formed.
  4. Pour mixture into a sterilised jar and store in fridge.
  5. To serve mix 1 tablespoon of soother with a cup of hot water, stir and enjoy.

Soother can last up to two to three weeks in a sealed jar, stored in the fridge.
