Comvita (NZX: CVT) was founded in 1974 with a purpose to improve people’s health through the power of nature. Today, we are a global leader in UMF™ certified Mānuka honey, supported by a team of more than 400 people and operations spanning New Zealand, Australia, Greater China, North America, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia.

 
We operate a vertically integrated supply chain, from our own Mānuka forests and beehives in New Zealand through to an international omni-channel distribution network. This end-to-end model supports quality, traceability and supply security across our product portfolio.

We operate a government-recognised and accredited laboratory to test and verify the quality of our bee-derived ingredients, and we invest in ongoing scientific research to deepen understanding of Mānuka, bee welfare and the functional benefits of Mānuka honey.

Sustainability is central to our long-term strategy. Since 2017, we have planted millions of native Mānuka trees, contributing to biodiversity restoration, climate resilience and the sustainable supply of high-quality Mānuka honey.

In 2023, we became a certified B Corp, joining a global community of businesses committed to using business as a force for good.
